Ok...I'll try again, blogger just lost my comment so if it appears twice it's not my fault! heh.
So...any good? I just downloaded it this morning but I'm a bit eeekkkk about beta stuff....and it says it will import all my gmail contacts....I don't want it to, do I get an option? Ok, enough questions, lol.
Hey, why are you double-posting? (Just kidding.)
I can't answer your questions. I installed it and let it import my contacts, but I haven't actually connected with anybody. I use Skype for VOIP and Trillian to IM people on AIM, ICQ and MSN (you know who you are), and I don't know anyone on Google Talk yet. Like I need another client! :)
If enough friends used it, I'd probably get the Pro version of Trillian that's compatible with Google.
So, babe, you're the guinea pig. Let me know how you like it. ;)
"Google Talk is not a telephony service and cannot be used for emergency dialing."
telephony?
LOL
Not euphonic, is it? ;)
Actually, even some of the services that are telephony services have trouble with 911. Big issue.
