Obama Drugs

Walking around tonight, Connie observed that the Obama headquarters was in a storefront with a big DRUGS sign overhead.

I've noticed that in my travels around California, Oregon and Washington state this past year, I've seen many a bumper sticker and yard sign and billboard for Obama, and not a single one for McCain. This pleases me.

You should probably avoid Eastern Washington.

LOL

What percentage of the state's population lives on that side?

My dad's convinced that Obama's gonna win by a wide margin, but that the media always makes it seem close, because more people buy newspapers and watch the news when the election's not a foregone conclusion. Makes sense to me. :)

I'm distressed to learn that my coworkers want the other guy to win largely because they believe that Obama is a secret Muslim. I'm so hoping that my coworkers don't have their citizenship papers so they can't vote.

Maybe you could tell them that voting day is a Wednesday. :)

I don't know the numbers off the top of my head, but the majority of the population resides in the four blue counties along the east side of Puget Sound (King, Pierce, Snohomish and Thurston). The rest of the population lives in the remaining 35 red counties. There is a lot animosity between the two sides. If we're out fishing somewhere in Eastern Washington and people ask where we're from, we've found it best to respond with the name of our home town rather than Seattle.
