Love the Skin You're In
I've finally figured out how to do something I've wanted to do for quite some time. I've modified a stylesheet so that each post looks like a separate note. To test it out, go to the Skins dropdown in the sidebar and try the Post-Its skin. You may have to reload the page to get the skin to show up. If you don't like it, you can go back to the Pumpkin skin.
CSS and color-coordination are not my strong points, so if any of you have some suggestions, please pass them on. Thanks!

Cookie Monster says, "The eMusing Skinning System (tm) relies on cookies to remember what skin you want, so if your browser is blocking cookies, skinning won't work right." :)
The new colors look good. They really pop out, but they have to be re-set every time I visit the site. And, you just explained why.
I didn't know that I had a cookie blocker. Is that kind of like wearing latex gloves to protect yourself and your patient from the exchange of bodily fluids? :)
A cookie blocker is kinda like wearing latex gloves (ewww!).
However, you may or may not have one. Turns out when I was setting the cookie, I forgot to set an expiration date, so it was expiring when you closed your browser. (Poor cookie!)
I think I've fixed that now. Silly me. If enough people like the new look, I may make it the default.

I like the way you put the black around the 2 edges to make the post stand out even more, too.
Skin is in.
I'm currently trying to figure out how to skin my toriforum place so that users can have their pick of colors/themes (I'm excited to do this as it is a new option). But I have to work my way around the standard headers/footers because the new skinning option doesn't allow for all the extras I want to have to be customized for each individual skin. It's a pain.
Ok, now change over to Wordpress and skin some entirely different designs. :)
Big project for another day, for me! (or perhaps next year)
I like the Post-It skin a lot!
The skin still won't stick. (How gross does that sound?) But, I like the default setting too. It's easy on the eyes.
