READ THIS POST!

Holy crap.

You're not supposed to say things in all caps. I've avoided it pretty successfully up until now. My print shop teacher in high school once gave me some sage advice. "Over-emphasis is no emphasis," he said. Sage advice then, sage advice now.

READ THIS STORY! => How to be Creative (slightly NSFW in one spot)

Oh, man. I did it again.

Have you read it yet? Stop right now. Go back. Read it. Read the long version. (Part three two is the best, that's where the meat is.) You won't regret it. Okay, maybe you don't have time right now. Maybe you're in the middle of something. DO IT TONIGHT!

Why, you ask? Because there lurks wisdom. More wisdom than you've seen in the last year. More wisdom than you've found in the last three poems, more than you've found in the last ten books, more wisdom than you've found in all the movies and TV shows you've ever watched. Maybe more than is good for you. It could change you. It could burn you. If it doesn't, then you're not ready for it.

Don't worry, it's not dry wisdom. It's not something you have to choke down, like medicine, because you know it's good for you. It's amusing. It's accessible. It's readible. Readable? Whatever. It's simply written. It's personal. It's from the heart. It has TRUTH. If it didn't, you could put it down and not blog about it in all caps. It has wisdom.

More wisdom, at least, than you've found here.

Thanks! Updated.

Love your blog. I'm used to seeing just small posts, mostly the latest thing you've drawn on a business card. This was a treat.

I'm a big fan of portability. What good is a gadget if you don't have it when you need it? That's why I love PDA's and small digital cameras and whatnot.

For the same reason, I've always been a big fan of things business-card-sized. Like magnifiers, strip thermometers, reference materials, flashlights. I like to print my own cards, with aphorisms, brainstorming materials or storytelling elements, and then shuffle them around.

Keep up the good work.

Stop being so wishy-washy Dave and tell us what you think. :)

Seriously, there is a lot of wisdom there and humor. My favorite story involved the friend who had become successful in his field and was being mobbed by people and he said, "Now I know what it's like to have vagina."

I've bookmarked the site so I can go back when I have ample time to really take it all in. The cartoons are great!

I don't know why, but this particular post keeps attracting spammers, so I'm closing comments on it.
