Sorry, Dave. Hopefully, she'll visit often.
Awww, well if that aint the cutest cartoon!
She'll be back, i betcha she's a 'daddy's girl' and misses you just as much :)
She'll miss you, too. Promise.
And hey... where's your Apollo 11 post today? Get with it! ;)
I expected to come here and see your face in the moon or something.
Oh dear!
She can fly!
::whimper::
But, just look at her spread those glorious wings!
Breathtaking, isn't it?
Thanks, all! :)
You're right, Mary. Just didn't get to it as soon as I'd hoped, and it's been tempered by news of James Doohan. I met him once, and he was a wonderful person to chat with.
Lots going on at home, too. With Deb gone, we really don't need a house this size, so we're planning to sell it. This seems to be a time of flux.
Sunrise, sunset.
Right you are, Candace. :hugs:
Are you staying in Marin County? It would be horrible to leave that paradise.
Destination unknown. Someplace cool and green.
My dad keeps telling me the real estate bubble is going to pop. So we plan to sell the house now, then rent (probably in Marin) until we decide where to go, and maybe prices will be cheaper then.
Being by nature extremely cautious, I would be afraid to sell my house and gamble that the market will go down. Hopefully your dad is right, but if he's wrong, you may be priced out of the market. (Not that any of this is my business. I just worry a lot.)
Sorry to hear about your daughter leaving the house. Mine is just going to kindergarten, and I'm having trouble imagining THAT. :)
Good luck with selling your house. I prefer renting myself. But you may want to keep your house... then you'll have room for visitors, grandchildren, etc, when they come to visit.
My parents live in a 4-bedroom house all by themselves. :)
