How Much Longer, Daddy?

Shows I'm looking forward to seeing new episodes of:

2 1/2 Men (Great dialogue)
Alias (Jennifer Garner, great action)
Boston Legal (Great cast, great writing)
Deadwood (Great writing)
Desperate Housewives (Terri Hatcher, good writing)
Grey's Anatomy (Great cast, great writing)
Lost (Evangeline Lilly, great writing)
NCIS (Great cast, great writing)
Veronica Mars (Great cast, great writing)

Update: Ack! How could I forget Veronica Mars? Seeing Gary's name in the comments reminded me. (What's a guy like me doing watching Veronica Mars? Let's not speculate. Fact is, I just enjoy great writing and expressive faces.)

Lost, Alias, Smallville (our DVR will be working overtime this year again) I liked Gray's Anatomy too, just never got to see it enough. My family was also fans of The Apprentice, it was a great discussion tool with the kids to see what they are thinking and if they 'get it' or not.

I wish that I could watch TV like a normal person. Annoying evening shift.

We suffered with a VCR last year.. cable company offered DVR ... I said HELL YES!!

We don't want THAT much TV, but the nights we do always seems to have more than one show on at the same time. grumbles

I have TIVO, but no one can figure how to connect it since I got the satellite. If there's something that I absolutely must watch, such as Survivor, a friend will record it for me.

Hi, Dave! Thanks for visiting my blog again today!

I'm also looking forward to Desperate Housewives...but for Marcia Cross (who is brilliant) along with the great writing, of course.

I'm most excited about Deadwood . . . that show is amazing. We missed last season of Alias (just too busy) and now I wish we had watched it but we'll have to catch it on DVD. I love Lost and Desperate Housewives but I lost the last 5 episodes of DH because our Tivo went out. So I'm Tivoing them now so we can catch up before the new season starts. We're moving at the end of September and we won't have Tivo for 3 months, and I don't know how we're going to go back to watching TV the old way. I love being able to watch it when we want, and not to have to worry about missing anything.

2 1/2 Men is such a crack-up. You're right, it's the quick-witted dialogue that's the best. When the show first started I wasn't prepared to see Charlie Sheen be so funny. And the kid is perfect.

Looking forward to DH, too.

Shari, every moment without Tivo is hell. Just so you know and can be prepared. Hell!

TiVo will do for your television watching what cable modems or DSL did for your Internet use. It makes it a totally different experience!

I'm ready for your shows (2 1/2 Men, Alias, Boston Legal, Grey's Anatomy, Lost) and mine (Smallville and Medium). All my other shows are on SciFi and USA and those seasons are about to end soon.
