Out of the Mouths of Babes

One of the strategies used by spammers to get their emails past the spam filters is to pad the message with innocuous text to lower the ratio of suspicious words to innocent ones. I don't know how successful that is, but today I got spam for a porn site that made it through the filter, for whatever reason. The message was padded with irrelevant quotes, and the first one caught my eye:

"Ten persons who speak make more noise than ten thousand who are silent."

I like that.

P.S. The Blogger spellcheck doesn't know the word "spammers". You'd think it would by now.
