Me, Druid
We love trees. Maybe I should become a druid. Neatorama has a great photo essay on the ten most magnificent trees in the world. Trees can be so fascinating!

I was looking at the trees at work and several people stopped and wanted to know what those things were. They didn't believe me, at first, that they were trees.
I'm a tree whore . . . I love them with all of my heart! :-) Those trees are amazing. My sentimental fave is the Lone Cypress because we saw it on our honeymoon.
It's amazing what you can do by grafting trees.
I liked the California trees because I'd seen many of them. We've visited the General Sherman tree (big!), and the Lone Cypress, and walked through the poor trees with the drive-through trunks. We also love stands of aspen. I planted two last year, but the dear ate them. I'll have to try again this year and spray them with Liquid Fence.
