Stumbling on Happiness
I've started reading Stumbling on Happiness by psychology professor Daniel Gilbert. So far I've read the foreword and the first chapter, and I can tell you that so far this book is interesting, amusing, easy to read and well-written. If it's as good all the way through I'll be a happy man. 
Tomorrow we're going to another potluck. We're looking forward to it.

By the way, if you discover the secret to happiness, let me know. I'm more than a little curious.
We weren't invited personally, it was another open invite on the drumming mailing list. This one was attended by a different group of drummers. We brought chips with my homemade salsa, and Connie made chicken casserole and Maraschino Chocolate Thumbprint Cookies (which were awesome). A good time was had by all.
I'll let you know if I discover the secret of happiness, but we're already pretty happy, book or no book. :)
