Sunny Days

One of the things I hate about having a cold (in addition to the aching, sneezing and disgusting viscous fluids) is the lethargy. Even after the cold or flu is gone, I still don't have the energy I do when healthy. I've been feeling better the past week, and I think my energy is coming back. For the past few days we've had blue skies and bright sun, and I think that's helped, too.

Next month should bring a couple new establishments to Bend that I'm looking forward to. Supposedly, the new Trader Joes will open March 28th or thereabouts. We've missed shopping there.

The first or second week of March should also bring a new restaurant: Fireside Red, billed as "An American Tapas Lounge", featuring "Globally-inspired cuisine with various portion sizes and savory flavors, served as an appetizer or with other tapas as a meal." I've never been to a tapas bar. A topless bar, sure, but not a tapas bar. I'm looking forward to it.

Topless bar! Ha. I love tapas so we'll see if this is a real tapas bar unlike 38 degrees which says they are but isn't.

Topless trumps tapas.

After they open, maybe we should have a blogger meet-up there. We could start a routine of bloggers checking out new restaurants and then all of us blogging our thoughts.

Amen, Alan. Amen. :)

I would like to have a blogger meet up. I'll be in Seattle on the last day of May. Does that work for anyone?
