In my never-ending quest to make everything better, I have a favor to ask of you...
In the comments, please describe: a) what you like best about this blog, b) what you like least about it, and c) something else you like about it. Thanks!

What I like best(and this goes for all blogs) are posts that are about the blogger themselves; day to day life, family, work, special events, travels, humourous anecdotes, photos, etc.
I'm generally less excited about links to "cool websites" and such, although I myself have been guilty when I'm short on ideas. (The recent cat video was pretty good though. We have doofus cats and can easily relate).
I also like the webcam looking out in the yard to see how the weather is.
Thanks! I love using the webcams to look outside the house, mostly when I'm at work or out of town, but sometimes just when I don't wanna get up to look out the window! 8)
I'm with Alan 100% on this one. I also especially like the webcam. In the summer I like to see how your flowers and fish are doing and in the winter, it's fun to see how cold it is.
I was just doing a bit of musing on this, and i realized that some of the best blogs are like extended Christmas letters. They're just a "so then I did this, and then I saw this thing that was cool, and then...", but even though that sort of thing is boring to 99.44% of the world, we find in our eventual readers the other .54% of the world who do similar things, and in that way the online community expands.
So, yeah, cat pictures where necessary, and this is a good reminder to me that while my main weblog has become a self-important links page, I shouldn't neglect my personal one.
I'm weighing in late as usual but what I love the most are the interesting links I find here. You always find things I would never see if I didn't hang out here! That would be number one. Next the webcams and of course the funny, fascinating posts by the blogs founder and originator.
Better late than never, T.
The webcam is more popular than I'd have expected, being just a shot out the window. Got an email tonight from a friend in Los Angeles who wanted to know what the new light was at the end of the driveway. I just hooked up the holiday lights today, and I had the timer set wrong. The reindeer was still on at 11:00 at night. Amazes me how people hundreds of miles away can notice something in my front yard I haven't yet noticed myself. (Thanks, C in LA!) :)
