Friendly Bacteria
I have in my hands a bottle of friendly bacteria. I know, because it says so right on the label. Each capsule contains a half billion live cells! Acidophilus Plus, it's called.
So I open it up and put my ear to it, and sure enough, they are friendly! It's like the roar of the crowd at a stadium. Like hearing the ocean in a seashell. In fact, I think I can make out a teeny little voice saying, "Eat me!"
If these are friendly bacteria, isn't it wrong to eat them?
I'm not sure how friendly the manufacturer is. The bottle, brand new with safety seal secured, is only a third full. You don't get nearly as many capsules as it would appear on cursory examination. I hate that.

They want to be eaten! It's like moving into their dream home. They can thrive, grow and raise a family in your intestines. Eat them and enjoy.
I hate half empty bottles too. It couldn't possibly have settled that much in shipping.
Hooray, you got the friendly bacteria in capsule form!
And double hooray for the friendly message at the top of your blog today. Hey, I'm a bit late in getting here but, as usual, it's worth it. :) Thanks for the Happy Birthday banner, Dave.
I went to the bathroom tonight and drowned thousands of my new friends. And then I flushed them into the great beyond! What have I done?
Blech..just thinking bout it gives me the heebie jeebies. And of course, since your topic the other day I haven't been able to eat my yogurt either. I'd just gotten over the 'cultures' part of it recently.
Blah on you all!
LOL! Sorry about that, Tammy.
It's sad that some of your friends are no longer with you, but think about the good times that you had together and the wonderful life that you were able to provide the bacteria with during their all too brief existence. Just concentrate on the good times to get you through this bad period. Remember, time heals all wounds. :)
Where can you get these vitamin bacteria?
Just ask for acidophilus at any pharmacy, or look for it in the supplement section of your market or drug store. It's pretty popular. You can also get acidophilus milk.
By the way, Mosta, you may not realize this, but you and Tammy have met each other in the same place you met me. ;)
Oh my, thats a scary thought! *is now very curious*
