We're Like *That*

There's a new Face Recognition service that matches photos of people to celebrities (or to other people) and I gave it a spin. Turns out I match the following celebrites best:

Gary Lineker 65% (who?)
Michael Ballack 53% (who?)
George Clooney 51% (I'll take it!)

It's always a good thing to look like George. He's a hottie. :-)

Cool thing.
And George is cute, yes, but it's his charm and wit that are his real strong features if you ask me.
And in that case I'd put your match percentage even higher to him, Dave! ;)

So, George, who do your wife and daughter look like?

We've been told that Debbie looks like Emily VanCamp of "Everwood" and I have to agree there's a marked resemblance. The face recognition program says:

Alyson Hannigan 68%
Keira Knightly 65%
Norah Jones 62%

I ran it a second time with a picture of Debbie when she was about two years old, and its top pick for Debbie was Keira Knightly 67%.

As for Connie:

Kim Novak 58%
Shirley MacLaine 57%
Kirsten Dunst 56%

Just for grins, I gave it one of your high school photos, Melissa, and it gave:

Nicole Kidman 69%
Katie Holmes 69%

:)

Audrey Hepburn - 71%
Christina Ricci - 70%

I'm not sure about Christina Ricci, but you do resemble Halle Berry or a tan Audrey Hepburn. Ever applied to a modeling agency? ;)

A tan Audrey Hepburn! LOL My aunt tells me all the time how much she thinks I look like Ms Hepburn.
Anyway, no, never applied to a modeling agency but have done some modeling for some print-work before. One was a sad shot - my eyes were a bit teary. Real heartbreakin' stuff. I was good. ;) Anyway, one model in our family (my sis) was enough!

Btw, I put in a pic of Sean and I don't recall the percentages but the top 3 for him were Liam Neeson, Rudolph Valentino, and ..... JOHNNY DEPP!
LOL! (In this household Johnny's name is rarely spoken without my husband rolling his eyes because he knows I've had a huge crush the actor since I was a teen - and now our daughter loves him, LOL!)
The bottomline: My hubby is indeed a HOTTIE! ;)

George, I no longer resemble Nicole Kidman. It's now Naomi Watts (60%),Mira Sorvino (54%), and Enya (53%). We won't talk about Rupert Murdoch (56%).

About the only photo that I have of myself on this computer is a glamour shot that was taken prior to chemo in 1993. It's amazing as to how much the results differ when I uploaded a photo from a couple of years ago during a bad hair day with my full, typical gummy smile while visiting the Lorikeet Exhibit at the Aquarium of the Pacific.

Hats off to the makeup artist for the glamour shots.

Glamour shot 1 recognition results:
Courteney Cox 69%
Princess Diana 67% (Yeah, get real.)
Grace Kelly 65% (Uh huh, I wish.)
Sofia Coppola 64% (might be a resemblance there, not sure)
Demi Moore 63% (Do I get a boy toy of my own now?)
Hilary Swank 62%

Glamour shot 2 recognition results:
Elizabeth Taylor 62% (based on Taylor's photo, I would have to say that this selection was based on HAIRSTYLE recognition rather than face recognition)
Vivien Leigh 61%
Andie MacDowell 61%
Salma Hayek 56% (Rusty wishes, I'm sure!)
Julie Andrews 56%
Olivia Newton-John 55%

Just Being Me Recognition Results:
Male photo 60%
Aung San Suu Kyi 60% - female, yes, but I don't have any Japanese heritage in my Eastern European family tree.
Male photo 57%
Male photo 56%
Male photo - Ariel Sharon 56% (no comment)
Andie MacDowell 55% - golly gee, a woman!
Male photo - 53%
Male photo 52% - again, I wonder if I have any Japanese ancestry.
Robert Redford 49% - Boy, I'm really feeling incredibly feminine now! Time for a sex change?

Well, now that my self-image is thoroughly shattered, I have a good excuse to shut the computer down, curl into a tiny ball and fall asleep. Bah! Me loves meself just the way me is, imperfections and all.

One of Rusty's photos came up with Anthony Hopkins 65% as the first result; another came up with Gene Roddenberry 58% (Rusty would like that) and Dennis Quaid 52%. I won't mention the matches that annoyed me. One was Joseph Stalin. Not! ::grin::
