Oh, the Irony
I just moved from Marin County what, almost three weeks ago? Just after the move, a new restaurant opened in the town I lived in. And a friend and former coworker just moved to Marin County. And I just got an email from LucasArts wanting to know if I'm interested in a job there (probably not, even if I still lived there). But still...

How nice to see you blogging regularly again. I didn't want to complain, but it was becoming annoying to go day after day without my eMusings fix.
How nice also to know that you have options should the rain and snow become too much. There's a reason, I suppose, why so many people desire to live in Marin.
Ahhh, you have a reputation :)
Thank you!
I've been driving down to Marin on Fridays or Saturdays and coming back Sundays, so I tend to be "off the air" for 2 or 3 days, and I'm exhausted for a day or so after that. But I'm trying... :)
A classic case of sod's law I would say!
What kind of restaurant? :)
you dont want to work for lucasarts, believe me. i PLAYED star wars galaxies, it sucked, i then read about the redo on it, adn wow it sucks worse which by extension makes lucasarts suck. i am glad you came to central oregon! enjoy the snow.
Thanks, Dak-Ind. I've had friends who worked there, and they described a really poor work environment. I guess LucasArts figures they don't have to treat their employees so well since they have the Lucas "cool factor" working for them.
Candace, the Marin IJ newspaper describes the restaurant this way: Sam's Roadhouse opened two weeks ago... The vintage-look interior is tricked out in pistachio green and red colors and furniture reminiscent of the 1960s and '70s. The menu feels vintage as well. Sam's is all about hearty foods for breakfast, lunch and dinner. At night, the big sellers are meatloaf, fried chicken, fish and chips, burgers, big sandwiches, and meatballs and spaghetti. "Business is great."
I'm sure you can still visit, so that you can go to the new restaurant.
It's the luck of the Irish... wait....
