That Time Again

I hate having to change clocks and sleep schedules. My circadian rhythm feels syncopated.

Yesterday we reset all the clocks, including the ones in the VCR and the phones and TV and the car and the microwave and the oven. Does everything now have a clock?

I ran an antivirus check on all the computers, and all came up clean, except one. On further inspection, the viruses reported by AVG were ten viruses that Norton AntiVirus had quarantined. AVG had found the ones Norton had already found and safeguarded. I uninstalled Norton quite a while ago, having grown fed up with it, but I guess the uninstall only removed the application, not its booty.

I tested our smoke alarms. They're hard-wired, but with battery backup, so I'm not sure if my test actually proved anything. I'll have to do some research.

The temperature is supposed to hit single digits tonight, but at least it's dry. Tomorrow will be our first Halloween here, and I'm hoping for trick-or-treaters. I have no idea how many to expect, if any. Ours is the only house tricked out for Halloween. Others in the area just have a couple pumpkins, if anything. I don't think the neighbor kids are prepared for what they're going to find here. muwahahaha!

We're up in the boonies. We got four kids tonight. Which pleased me fine, since I was afraid we were going to get skunked. With it being a school night, temperature in the 20's and a low-density neighborhood, I suppose I can't expect more than that. Next year we'll buy less candy. :)

We love 3 Musketeers. They're good from the freezer, too. ;)
