Crazedlist

As you probably know, craigslist is the best place for online classified ads, and it's free for most purposes. The problem is, it's divided into localities, and you can only search in a given location. Until now.

We learned from T.W. at the COWPU meeting tonight that there's a new web service named crazedlist that lets you search nationally across all the craigslist sites. It just takes a little browser configuration first to keep craigslist from detecting your use of crazedlist and returning home pages instead of the results. They have instructions for Firefox and Opera, but not IE, so if you use IE you're on your own disabling the referrers header.

Thanks, T.W.!

I've heard of freecycle, didn't know there was a local one. I just checked, and there's one here.

Crater Lake is one of the prettiest lakes on the planet, and its history is humbling. I have some photos of it on Flickr.

Good find! Wish I could've been at COWPU :-(

I remember a service like this existed a year or two ago, but the craigslist folks shut it down. Hopefully this will stick around a while.
