Do Not Call Does Not Expire

Woohoo! The Do Not Call telephone registry that keeps most telemarketers from bothering you was originally designed to drop phone numbers from the list after five years unless they re-registered. Now the FTC says it will not drop numbers from the list, as lawmakers work to put that into law. Woot! Woot and double-woot!

perhaps that is what happened to us, we dropped off. it seem sin the last 6 months i have had a million calls from automated mortgages, recorded satelite sales, and my favorite, the car warranty has expired. sigh. we dont even get to hang up on real people now, its all recorded voices commanding me to press one after their pitch if i want to talk to a real person.
