Play Your Drums Today

Drummer Kevin "neviK" Hartnell of The Black Drum is in the hospital recuperating from a clot in his lung, and he writes to fellow drummers, "Everyone should play their drums today... because you can."

I love that sentiment. Not just drums, and not just today. I read that to mean, "Enjoy life. Today. Because you can. And some can't."
