Cool Calendar Program

I tend to use free, open-source software whenever I can. I use Google Chrome instead of MS IE, OpenOffice instead of MS Office, and Thunderbird instead of MS Outlook. I'm pretty happy with them (except that I'd like better skin support for Chrome).

When I gave up Outlook (often called LookOut!), I lost the calendar and task-list functions it supported. I should have replaced those long ago, but instead I've been getting along all these years without a calendar program. Until today.

Maybe I'm slow or out of it, but I never knew that Mozilla had a calendar app as well as an email app. I was about to write my own, but today I discoverd Sunbird, Mozilla's calendar app. It does pretty much everything I want it to except for one thing: it doesn't have a small, concise month-view display that can sit on my desktop. But it can export .ics files, which I imported into my Month Calendar widget (a Yahoo! widget). I've been needing another brain augmentation. Hopefully I won't miss as many birthdays and events now.
