The Smart Thing to Do
I read on Engadget last month that the SMART car will be coming to the United States at last. When my daughter came home from Europe last year she told me how cool the cars were, and I've been hoping ever since that they would make their way here. We've just got to shake our fondness for gas guzzlers.

The gas mileage and price are great, but I have to agree with the author that it would be scary to be in such a small car surrounded by SUVs. In case of a crash, I would like to have at least some chance of survival. Besides, how would I fit my three golden retrievers in that car? I think that I will stick to my station wagon. It's not cool, but it's way practical. :)
They were everywhere in Italy. I wish they would catch on. Iwant one and a scooter too.
It's scary to be a small car around SUVs, but small cars are maneuverable, and they make small targets. :)
I like scooters, it's just embarrassing to be seen on one. ;)
