Put Your Ear to the Wayback Machine
Don't you miss thet old-timey music? Sittin' on the porch wit' yer cousin, singin' songs and playin' the fiddle? Don't you wake up in the morning, wishin' you were back in the hills?
Okay, even if you don't, surely your heart yearns for that nostalgic music of yesteryear? Surely you watch Deliverance whenever it comes on. Surely you have the soundtrack to Brother, Where Art Thou?
Surely you want to write back and tell me I'm an idiot, that I missed the mark every time. Maybe you're right. Even so, it wouldn't hurt for you to saunter on over to Sugar in the Gourd and savor the sound of America centuries past. It's free, it's online. The Internet rocks.

:)
P.S. I used to have that soundtrack (OB,WAT?), but gave it away--darn! I *do* have the soundtrack from the movie Down From the Mountain. Are you familiar with that one?
Too funny!
Don't know that movie. I'll have to check it out.
It's a concert that was put together to celebrate the great response to the music in that movie OB,WAT? Features John Hartford as emcee (near the end of his life) and stellar performances from Emmylou Harris, Allison Kraus, and Gillian Welch--to name just a few. You owe it to yourself to watch it!
