Sweet Lovin'

One day, several years ago, Connie and I were at the market, and I asked to see the shopping list. It looked something like this:

belgian waffles
frozen soft pretzels
coke
sourdough bread
sweet lovin'

Sweet lovin'??? Who put that there?

Our daughter, Debbie, has had since third grade a close friend named Kaley. It turns out that Kaley likes to add things to our shopping list. It became a tradition.

The last time we found one of Kaley's additions was over six months ago. I suppose the fact that we moved 500 miles away could have something to do with it.

Connie mentioned the other night that she misses Kaley's little shopping suggestions. (Kaley was at our house so often she's like a second daughter.)

Tonight, at the market, Connie read the shopping list and found the following on the list: sweet lovin'. What are husbands for?

For my take on sweet lovin', see my comment regarding Oregon Sex Offenders.

You ask, "What are husbands for?"

Opening jars would be high on my list.
