Famous Last Words
Blogger really, really, really wants me to switch to the new Blogger. I've been putting that off. It's not that I don't trust Blogger...
It's just that I don't trust Blogger. Who knows if the transition will go okay? I've heavily modified my template (just look at my sidebar). But, like a pushy boss, it doesn't want to take No for an answer. So I've backed up my blog, and I'm about to push the button. If you don't see any posts after this... I'm a Blogger victim. If all goes well, I'll just delete this post and you'll never know what a whiner I was. 
aaaargh! So eMusings is now on the new Blogger, and I notice that when I republish a page, many of the comments are now attributed to anonymous. What's up with that? *growl*

Well, I find your upgrade going amazingly well. My wordpress upgrade seriously screwed everything. I have managed to fix visible things, but I know I'll have more problems because my template is not compliant with the latest upgrade and I haven't got a clue how to fix it.
Let's see if I'll appear as me myself ;)
I don't care how much they nag me, I'm not going to change. It's not that I like old Blogger so much, I just don't trust new Blogger. Let's see if Blogger punishes me by making me anonymous.
Looks like it went OK? I switched ages ago (back when it was still in beta). The only problem I had was all my posts now are timestamped 10-11 hours earlier on BendBlogs... oh well!
When I switched, I saw the same "anonymous" problem. Still no idea why the switch caused it.
I will be the last Aussie standing...no way am i switching..never never never!
Speaking of Aussies, last night our waiter had a faint accent I thought was Aussie or Ned Zed. When I asked him about it, he said was Aussie. He's been here seven years.
I know three people in Oz. There's my old friend Corky, a video editor who may still be in Sydney, there's Judy, my ex-step-father's first ex-wife, and there's you. And even though I know Oz is a humungous place, my first instinct was to ask the waiter if he knew you. (I'm not counting all the distant relatives I have there but don't have contact info for.)
Fortunately, my brain often waits before it hits the "Send" button, and I didn't embarrass myself by asking him. But still. :)
Damn Blogger...keot hassling me to change and when I finally plucked up the courage to try it wouldn't let me! Said something about my blog being too big ..... maybe I'm glad now! heh.
