Rewriting History

Here's another great idea. No extra charge.

Have you ever sent a text message, by phone or email or IM, and then discovered you'd made a spelling error or other mistake? I send IM messages all day long, and I hate when I send a message with an error in it.

Goodman: I wet my pants.
Goodman: er, I mean, I nearly wet my pants! *mutter*
Coworker: ha ha ha ha ha!

See what I mean?

I think the next evolution in messaging services should be the message edit. Even after you send a message, you should be able to fix stupid mistakes like that.

You'll thank me once that arrives.
