The Birds and the Bees and... Goldfish???

In the spring a young man's fancy lightly turns to thoughts of love. - Alfred Lord Tennyson

I don't remember observing this last year, but here it is spring, on the calendar and in the weather reports, and our goldfish are boinking. It seemed today that half the fish in the pond had cornered a single female in the plants. Thoughts of intervention crossed my mind, but hey, how do I know what's right and wrong in goldfish society?

Evidently all it takes for goldfish to get frisky is for the temperature to go up ten or fifteen degrees. A goldfish can eject a thousand eggs at one time. I don't know if I can come up with that many baby names. We'll have to see if any survive. That would be cool.

I'm certain that the two of you can come up with thousands of names.

The real challenge would be remembering each name and identifying the little fishie that belonged to each name.

When you and Connie are together I have trouble keeping your names straight! ;)
