New Blogger Feature?

I just noticed a new feature in Blogger comments that I've been wanting for a long time. When leaving a comment, there's now a checkbox that lets you get notified via email when there's a new comment entered. The thing that keeps nagging at me is... how long has that feature been there? Have I been oblivious to it, or is it really new?
