Smarter Than a 5th Grader?

Sometimes I feel more defined more by what I'm not and what I can't do than by what I can. I can't ski, snowboard, skateboard, hang-glide, scuba dive, play banjo or eat seafood. What's even more embarrassing to me is knowing how many people there are who can do those things. There are five-year-olds all over Mexico who speak Spanish better than I do. There are probably millions of five-year-olds across this country who can skateboard and do other things I've never done.

It's been a while since I linked to a YouTube video. Here's a link to video of a cute three-year-old boy who can play violin better than I can. The playing made me cringe in places, but it's better than I can do. Then the same kid, at five years old, plays in the second video and is outstanding. And he does a trick with a water bottle that makes me laugh out loud. I can do the trick with the water bottle, though.
