World's Best Cat Litter

We have one of those computerized catboxes that automagically clean themselves after the cat uses it. I like to call it our "See P.U."

Recently I discovered a new cat litter for it, modestly labeled The World's Best Cat Litter. This stuff is dust-free, biodegradable, flushable, yada yada yada. You can read all about it on their website. I just want to say that the stuff works, works better than the clay stuff I was using, and I love the fact that it's dust-free and it's made from corn, a renewable resource. (Maybe I've lived in Marin too long.) Our catbox likes it too.

I'm not affiliated with them, I don't own stock in them. I do think the blonde at the store where I get it is kinda cute, but that's not relevant. I just like to share when I find something cool, and to cat people like us, anything that makes cat care more convenient is cool. We now return you to your previously scheduled programming.

My pussy uses the sand outside. She sleeps inside at night, but prefers to be in the garden during the day. She hasn't touched her cat box in months.

I just had an idea. Giant kitty litter boxes for patients. Not all of them, of course, just the incontinent ones. That would be so much easier than changing diapers.

I wonder if the patients would object to sleeping in kitty litter boxes? We could tell them that it's better for their skin than regular beds because the litter absorbs moisture and keeps their skin dry. The hospital would also save a ton of money on linens.

What do you think? Should I suggest this at the next meeting? :)

See P.U.! haha

Melissa, you might be onto something there. Less fluids would be likely to fall on your shoes, too! ;P

I'm going to let my friend Shari (the most cat-persony cat person I've ever known) know about this modestly-labeled wonder stuff. She'll probably be interested. (That is, if she doesn't already know about it). I'm assuming you got it from a regular pet store?

Thanks to Mary, I was directed to this post. We also bought Littermaid, along with the World's Best cat litter last year. But our damn cats wouldn't use the corn litter. It's so great because it's dust free, etc. and I was hoping for a miracle with our cats. We even tried combining it with their other litter and slowly introducing it to them, but nooooooo. They're too finicky. I think it's because they're all around 13 years old and just don't want to change at this point. They would use the Littermaid, but only if it had our old litter in it, which doesn't work great in the Littermaid. If we ever own other cats in the future, we will be starting them on this combination so they won't have a problem with it.
