Tidbits
We're still getting caught up on chores we let slide while Debbie was visiting.
Debbie made it safely home. No problems with security at the airport. We miss her. *sniffle*
I went to a drum class last night and had a blast. Bought a djembe.
Tonight Connie tried her hand at frying tilapia with tasty results, and I made some great marinara from scratch (my first time).
My poor Nikon Coolpix camera suffered a violent and horrible death this past week. After a short period of mourning, I've replaced it with a Panasonic DMC-TZ1, which features 10x optical zoom and an anti-shake mechanism. So far, I love it.
Tomorrow we plan to visit the Lava Cast Forest. "When man plans, God laughs." I'll let you know how it goes.
Bulletins as they break.

What happened to your poor camera?
I loaned it to someone, and it got dropped onto a lava rock on Mt. Bachelor's Summit Trail, shattering the display screen. I had a screen protector on it (like they sell for PDAs), but those only protect against light scratches. I was able to recover the photos I had taken, though. RIP, little guy. :)
