Dear Oblivious

Yes, you. You in the car coming out of the Fred Meyer parking lot Wednesday night. If you're behind a car at a stop sign and he gets his turn to go, it doesn't mean you can follow right along behind him like a dog with its nose up the other dog's butt. You have to stop at the sign and wait for others stopped to take their turn. It was my turn to go after he went. You're lucky I have good reflexes and a sense of honor.

And you. You in the big SUV with the California plates and the cellphone at your ear. If you'll pay more attention to driving and less to your cellphone, you'll probably live longer, and people won't call you as many dirty names.

I'm just saying.

I keep telling myself that it's a good thing I don't have a tank with a machine gun mounted on top, because there are way too many people that I would happily take out.

I've always wanted a phaser on my car. It's better to make other cars disappear than having shot up, destroyed vehicles in the streets blocking traffic.

And a phaser would leave less evidence. ;)

Well you know it cannot have been me cos you're there and i'm here.....down under :o)

Don't get me started on SUV's...gggrrrr....i hate the things. I reckon i'm the only mother at my kids school without one! They really are a curse when trying to see what's coming when you're backing out of a parking space and sandwhiched in between two :(

Hmmm...

The remarks about the SUV remind me of a certain individual who one lived in Novato, California and owned a Bronco.

As far as I know---although he doesn't make a habit of it---he still drives while talking on his cell phone and insists that he is in control while doing so and that it is not a distraction.

::cough::

I'm just saying.

i have to admit, i am proud of you for this one. you have become a true Oregonian in just a short year!

complaining about the way california plates drive is a requirement of true OR resident status.
