Another Busy Day
Saturday we went into Sunriver to hit the twenty-dollar leather store and the import store. After our trip to Vegas, Connie decided it was time for a new suitcase, one that wasn't black like every other one you see at the airport. We also attended a book reading by Diana Abu-Jaber, author of the book Origin. I love the opportunity to ask published authors about their writing process and how they got published.
Then it was off to Bend for a gig. We're big fans of the David Bowers Colony. They were performing at Silver Moon Brewing's Halloween Party and I played didgeridoo during a freestyle jazz piece, A Deep Snow. I had a blast (ha ha). David Bowers is a wonderful guy, with a great band, and we love their music. The picture above is a snapshot from the video that Connie shot. I don't have rights to publish the performance, but if that changes I'll let you know.
