Flush Skipping
We don't always flush. Does this make us vile? We don't like to waste the water. And we don't like to wake others up in the night. So we skip flushes sometimes.
The problem is that we get toilet rings. They don't want to come off. I've tried cleansers and bleaches and lime removers and they just... don't... work. Our car (we only have one), on the other hand, has a zillion spots where a bit of road grit or cinder has blasted another pit out of our paint job.
Scientists need to analyze toilet rings and make auto paint that's just as stubborn. But if they use the same ingredients, I don't wanna know about it.

I have the solution! We skip flushes, too, and if you use a cheap pumice stone (they come with a handle for this express purpose), they come right off with a little scrubbing, and it doesn't scratch the porcelain. Find them in the cleaning section.
Really? I saw those pumice stones at the store, but I didn't believe that they wouldn't scratch the porcelain. Me, cynical? :)
I do flush and I have toilet rings too. I think the way to get rid of them is to replace the toilets.
LOL
You need to think big. Last time we had toilet rings, we sold the house. :)
