Smiling Bullies

We watched the DVD of Stand By Me tonight (courtesy of NetFlix), a touching, funny movie with a well-known cast.

There's a scene in the movie where Kiefer Sutherland has stolen Wil Wheaton's hat, a hat that belonged to Wheaton's late brother. He's playing keep-away with the hat, and he keeps getting this creepy grin. I recognize that grin.

Bullies enjoy what they do. (People don't do anything unless it answers some need they have.) It wouldn't be so disturbing if bullies pushed people around for a good reason, but the fact is they do it for the pleasure of it, and it shows. Creepy.

yup. but also, it seems that the real 'bully' types are some of the very easiest to indimidate by those who cant or wont be bullied. See? if you'd get those cute lil chickens you so covet.. you'd know all this stuff! that herd instinct, or flock instinct, or whatever ya wanna call it is most amusing to watch! most of what i know bout people, i learned from watchin animals in groups...
which is why i tend to pin my ears, curl the upper lip, or ruffle my feathers to appear larger if i feel i'm being...'crowded' just glad i dont feel compelled to go around peeing on things to let everyone know i've been there..lol
and yer right as usual on my blogburps... it certainly typed up with indentations...so where'd they go? Intrademensional, with all the single socks, lost hangers, occasional hairbrushes and gemmak's trashcans? pondering point number 4,768.
