Thank You!

At long last, and finally, I've completed the last of my trips to Marin County to empty out our former house. Yesterday my daughter and I finished cleaning out the garage, and today the new owners moved in. I'm now safely back at home in Oregon. I should now have more time to keep up the blog.

Thank you all for your birthday wishes. It's my last birthday as someone less than a half-century old. How can that be? Now about those bicep pics...

What, it's not enough I let you see the size of my icicles? What about that male mystique? I can't give away all my secrets, can I?

Okay, you're right. I should show the results of my labors. Now, lest you get the wrong idea, I'm not buffed up like Governor Arnold. Normally, it's difficult to distinguish my forearm from my upper arm, so with respect to my former, geeky condition my biceps are much larger now, but they still aren't something to make the female heart go a-flutter. Nonetheless, I aim to please, and will try to post a pic shortly.

We now have our Oregon license plates, we've gotten Oregon bank accounts, and we can now spend our weekends here and not in Marin. Once we have Oregon drivers licenses and finished unpacking boxes, we'll be fully Oregonian, but even so we're now ready to start our local explorations, and hope to post about them. Next weekend there's a Winterfest in Bend, so we may head that way to check it out. (No, we don't live in Bend, but it's not very far away.)
