Random Pics

We've taken a lot of photos the past few weeks, and I've been negligent in posting them. Mea culpa. Here, then, is a smattering of them...

We been inundated the past few weeks with California Tortoiseshell Butterflies. It's been a good year for snowbrush, which they eat, hence a good year for butterflies. They're everywhere. (You should see the grill of our car.) Here's a hummer and flutterby outside my window sharing a meal.

Yet another hummer. Testing my new camera.

I believe this mountain is Broken Top. Taken from the top of Mt. Bachelor.

Our daughter on Mt. Bachelor, overlooking the world below. It's all ahead of her.

Ducks at Drake Park. We love ducks. I love ducks. When I'm down, I tell jokes to ducks, just for yucks, and they laugh. wak-wak-wak

Nice photos but where is a photo of the butterflies? You could have at least included a picture of the grill of your car.

The top photo has a butterfly on the right side of the feeder, but I admit it's a poor one. Here's another, from our trip to the Lava Cast Forest...

Yes, it is! That's one of the things I loved about living in Los Angeles... in less than an hour you could be at the ocean, the desert, the mountains, a museum, or any type of restaurant you could imagine.

We don't have ocean here, but I love the range of places to go and things to do. Hope you're feeling better.
